About

Animal Behavior believes individual actions can have global effects, both environmentally and socially. By using sustainable materials and socially responsible practices, our goal is to create a shift in the fashion industry towards more thoughtful and responsible way of doing business.

Animal Behavior: the scientific study of the ways in which animals interact with one another and the environment.

Animal Behavior is inspired by nature to protect nature. Each collection is influenced by a critically endangered species in an effort to increase awareness and contribute to the protection of these animals’ natural habitats.

Inspiration: Amur Leopard (panthera pardus orientalis)

With less than 40 individuals remaining in the wild, the Amur Leopard is considered the world’s rarest cat. This magnificent creature faces threats such as loss of habitat, insufficient prey, poaching, illegal trade, and conflict with farmers in the Russian far East and Northeast China.

The Amur Leopard is the inspiration behind our first collection. 5% of sales will be donated to Panthera.org to support the mission of reducing their endangerment and preventing their impending extinction.

Sustainable

The garment industry creates 2 million tons of waste every year. animal behavior utilizes a well thought out design, development and production cycle. By doing this we are able to reduce waste that is created from excessive sampling and over producing.

90% of all textile waste is recyclable. Animal Behavior's garments are produced using surplus materials, creating a second life for these left over fabrics.

In order to counter the environmental impact of shipping, we donate to carbon offset programs for every shipment sent.

Socially Responsible

With every purchase made, Animal Behavior will donate 5% to Panthera.org in hopes of reversing the Amur Leopard's endangerment and extinction.
